I can hardly believe it is Christmas time once again! It is truly the most wonderful time of the year. I am so excited to take part in my first “holiday home tour” alongside some extremely talented home decor bloggers. If you are coming from Eggshell Home, welcome! We are so excited to have you on our Cheerful Christmas Home Tour, and I’m thrilled to give you a glimpse into my own home decor for this Christmas season.
At the bottom of each section I will tag Christmas decor resources through Liketoknow.it, and any resources not tagged will be linked!
Christmas tree – 10 Ft Anderson Fir from At Home
Christmas tree skirt – Fringed Burlap Ivory Tree Skirt from Ballard Designs
Decorative entryway trees – Purchased last year from Pottery Barn
This year I decided to keep everything in our living room simple and neutral. I bought the matching mantle garland and wreath from Frontgate, and added the berries myself. The berries were bought from a store here in Houston called S Home Decor. I love the simplistic look of the greenery and white berries, and am really happy with the way it turned out!
Garland – Asheville Estate Garland from Frontgate
Wreath – Asheville Estate Wreath from Frontgate
Kitchen bar stool wreaths – White Mini Berry Wreath from Kirklands
Kitchen counter mini tree – Ballard Designs, no longer available
Christmas pillow on couch – Yuletide Embroidered Pillow from Ballard Designs
White rustic trees – RAZ imports from S Home Decor

Does anyone ever feel like they set the table, it never gets used, and you have to end up re-washing the dishes before you even use them because they’ve been sitting so long? Well, me too… which is why I decided NOT to set my table this year unless we actually use it! I changed my dining room Christmas decor this year, but wanted to still keep it simple and neutral. I love the flow of the green neutrals in the living room and kitchen to the silver neutrals in our dining room!
Dining table & chairs – Manor House Trestle Table
Mercury glass chandelier – Restoration Hardware, no longer available
I’m not sure if I have shared this with you all before, but my husband and I are ultimate football rivals. He attended the University of Alabama, and I attended Auburn University. If you know anything about college football and this rivalry, then you probably know we tend not to talk much on gameday ;). Although I can’t stand that he is a Bama fan, I have gotten to the point that I can allow myself to decorate our study with BOTH Auburn and Alabama decor. I had a lot of fun decorating our study this Christmas with both our teams in mind!
Desk – St. James 76″ Desk from Restoration Hardware
Bookshelves – consignment item from Still Goode Consignments

Wow!!! This is beautiful💗
I love your kitchen! Do you know the color / name of your glass backsplash? It sometimes looks like a caramel color and then a grayish color? I found one that is beige? Help!
I absolutely love your entire home! But I have to say that my favorite thing is your tree in your study! Love seeing the state of Alabama being represented in such a beautiful space! WAR EAGLE! or umm roll tide!
Wow, this is so beautiful, Katherine. I love the greenery touch in your home. I absolutely love things related to nature and your home tour is all about it. I love decorating my home, I find new ways to decorate it. Always in the search of new ideas or home items to decor.
Recently I bought Salt lamps, they are great. They relax me plus my surrounding. I absolutely love the idea of nature with home decor like yours. I thought these salt lamps would be a great addition in your home surroundings. I bought mine from Saltean.
Well, thanks for sharing this wonderful home tour with us!
Merry Christmas! 🙂
